The crossbreed mix of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Poodle, first bred deliberately in the United States in the 1950s and now one of the most popular designer dogs in the UK, takes twelve pages in Cavapoos 2027 Wall Calendar. The Cavapoo (also called Cavoodle, depending on which side of the Atlantic the breeder is on) inherits the spaniel's gentle temperament and the poodle's low-shedding coat in nearly any cross between the two, which makes the breed a popular choice for households with allergies. The featured coats run through the breed's color range: red, blenheim (chestnut and white), tricolor, black and tan, apricot, cream, and the rich chocolate that turns up in poodle-heavy crosses. The photography catches them mid-bound, in the soft teddy-bear puppy pose, and curled into the impossibly snug couch curl the breed is famous for. This title comes from Red Robin Publishing.
For Cavapoo owners, doodle-mix enthusiasts, and anyone who has spent an evening on the sofa with one of these dogs pressed against their leg, the photography here speaks to a familiar everyday experience. The teddy-bear look photographs as well as the breed lives up to.
